Congratulations to Seminole JH School Assistant Principal, Matt Hawkins on winning the TASSP Texas Middle School Assistant Principal of the Year! Out of all the finalists, Dr. Hawkins was chosen as the Texas Middle School Assistant Principal of the Year for his exceptional leadership, dedication, and positive impact on student success.

As the 2024-25 TASSP Texas Middle School Assistant Principal of the Year, Dr. Hawkins will be formally recognized at the TASSP Summer Workshop in Austin. He is now eligible for consideration as the National Assistant Principal of the Year, further highlighting his exemplary leadership and dedication to education.

Congratulations to Seminole JH School Assistant Principal, Mr. Hawkins on winning the TASSP Region 17 Middle School Assistant Principal of the Year! Mr. Hawkins was selected from a group of the region's best middle school principals.

Matt Hawkins, Assistant Principal of Seminole Junior High School, has been selected to represent the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals as the Region 17 Outstanding Assistant Principal of the Year. He will serve as the Region 17 Assistant Principal of the Year for 24-25.
TASSP recognizes outstanding principals and assistant principals from the twenty region Education Service Centers in the state. School administrators are nominated and chosen by their peers within their regions. Nominations are based upon exemplary performance and outstanding leadership. As the Region 17 winner, Mr. Hawkins is eligible to compete for the state title of Assistant Principal of the Year.
