Jarrett Bagwell named the 2020 4A Letterman to Leadership Scholarship Winner

Seminole High School Senior, Jarrett Bagwell, was named the 2020 4A Letterman to Leadership Scholarship winner by the 2Words Character Development. 
 
According to 2Words Founder and CEO, Stephen Mackey, 2Words is a character development program for coaches and athletes; geared toward developing and equipping student-athletes with the leadership skills necessary to be successful off the court or field. The Seminole Indian Football team utilizes this curriculum to assist in developing the TR1BE culture.

This award recognizes graduating seniors that exemplify sound character and others-centered leadership. The 2Words awards over $25,000 in scholarships and curriculums each year.

Two seniors (one male and one female) from each classification (2A-6A) compete in an online voting tournament and each one with the most votes will be awarded:

  • The 2020 Texas Student Athlete of the Year Award, presented by 2Words Character Development

  • The $1,000 Letterman to Leader Scholarship

  • 18 weeks of 2Words Character Development Curriculum for their School to use in the Spring Semester of 2020

"Jarrett is a leader in every sense of the word. He does things the right way and is a great example of what we want our student athletes to be like," stated Seminole Indians Head Football Coach, Ty Palmer. "We are very proud of Jarrett and this honor. It goes beyond athletic ability - this is an award about leadership and character and Jarrett is very deserving."
